How to Order


Exchanges and Upgrade Policy

We recognize that collectors seek to upgrade their collections.  We’d like to help.  If you desire to exchange any mineral specimen you have purchased from us for another one of higher value, we welcome the trade.  We don’t restrict you to exchanges of the same species.  Rather, ANY mineral specimen you purchase from us can always be exchanged for one of higher value. 

 

We ask only two things to make this work for everyone.

 

First, we accept trade-ins for specimens with a price at least $40 more than the original cost of the specimen you wish to trade.


Secondly, shipping for exchanges is the customer’s responsibility. Please make sure to pack your specimen very carefully because we cannot be responsible for breakage.  If you send us a mineral specimen for trade and it arrives broken, we will contact you to arrange for you to file an insurance claim.  We will return the broken items at your request.  Return postage will be the customer’s responsibility.  Please contact us at sales@masonsminerals.com to upgrade any specimen.
