This specimen is a thumbnail of square prismatic Apophillite on a matrix of acicular Xonotlite from the Wessels Mine in South Africa. The overall specimen is 27mm x 11 mm 20 mm. It is mounted in a perky box, but easily removed. The specimen is primarily Apophillite, but he Xonotilite is clear and clean, mostly visible from the back of the specimen.
