Pseudomorphs of calcite after an unknown mineral (possibly ikaite) with steep pyramidal form. These pseudomorphs are frequently formed of imbricated groups of pyramids, packed one within the other to make prismatic forms up to 8 or 10 inches (20 to 25 cm) in length. Also known as White Sea hornlets.
This specimen measures 6cm x 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm ((2.5 inches in length)

MINERAL: Creedite
LOCATION: Henderson Mine, Clear Creek County, Colorado
Beautiful specimen of drusy Creedite from Colorado. This 50 x 30 x 20 mm(just at 2 inches in length) creedite on matrix( piece is covered completely by a drusy, veruginous mass of lavender Creedite. The color just can’t be captured by the camera, but is a medium lavender. Unusual variety of this rare aluminum salt. This small cabinet specimen is only one of two I have found.

MINERAL: Elbaite Tourmaline
LOCATION: Minas Gerais, Brazil
Clear, dark green collection of Elbaite Toumaline crystals measures 48 cm x 14 cm x15 cm. These 13 crystals are almost 2 inches high, and beautiful. They are completely transparent, and eye clean. For accuracy, this item was professionally repaired, but the repair is not visible. It is reported for accuracy, but in no way detracts from the beauty of this crystal cluster. Striking addition to any collection.

MINERAL: Rhodochrosite after Calcite
LOCATION: Casapalca Mine, Lima Dept. Peru
Interesting display of Pseudomorphs of calcite being replaced by Rhodochrosite. The specimen measures 5.2 x 3.4 xc 4 cm (2 in x 1.3 in x 1.6 in) The largest crystal 1.3 cm across. The Rhodochrosite is a fine, light pink color on the white calcite base.

A beautiful thick hemisphere that glows when backlit, not quite completely formed but contacted, not damaged, at the edges. It is 4 cm around by 3.5cm high. This is a good size specimen, just at 1.5 inches across. Unusual formation - excellent addition to any collection

MINERAL: Manganoan Smithsonite

This miniature of Manganoan Smithsonite is very attractive. It measures 4.4 cm x 3.5 cm x 3 cm ( just about 1.25 inches across) The largest Smithsonite crystal is 9 mm on a side. Not sure of the green crystals.

Amazing - there are a thousand or more fluorite crystals here. Extraordinary unusual. The larger crystals that measure up to 35 x 25 mm are covered with hundreds if not thousands of individual fluorite crystals. With a 2x magnifying glass this looks like an Aztec city seen from above. With reflected light the individual crystals gleam like a mountain of light.This vivid display is 47 mm x 30 mm x 33 mm. The largest crystal is 35 x 25 mm translucent purple

Beautiful, rare, translucent fluorite crystals each with a purple phantom. The specimen measures 5 cm x 6 cm x 3 cm The crystals measure about 1.5 cm on a side. Terminations are perfect hexagons and completely transparent. Amazing.
