Cavansite is the beautiful blue zeolite only recently discovered and available in the last 30 years. The best still comes from India. This small cabinet specimen has exceptional Cavansite crystals spread over the well formed Stilbite crystals making a striking display. This is a excellent example that demonstrates why this mineral is so popular. Size: 66 x 44 x 40 mm (2.5 x 2 x 1.5 in). Stilbite crystals to 14 mm though most are about 5-6 mm. Cavansite crystals 1-2 mm.

MINERAL: Green Selenite

LOCATION: South Austrailia

Large sample of medium green selenite crystals appearing just like a well manicured lawn. These green selenites are coming from South Australia and are reported to be from mining runoff lakes and ponds. As such, they might not be “natural” since the hand of man was in the formation loop having created the mine, but they are beautiful and show well in any collection. Size: 7 cm x 8 cm (2.75 x 3.25 in) 15 mm in depth (0.6 in).
