LOCATION: Smoky Hawk Mine, Teller County, CO

The Smoky Hawk Mine has produced some outstanding Amazonite, and this is a great chance to secure an excellent example at a reasonable price. Be aware that this small cabinet specimen has been repaired, but the repair is undetectable, but keeps this price much lower than the specimen would command. It was done by a mineral laboratory. It is reported here for accuracy.This specimen is a dark green/blue color, and measures 7 cm x 4. 4 cm x 2.6 cm (just at 3 inches in length ) The individual crystals measure up to 3 x 3 x .5 cm One only at this price.

MINERAL: Fluorite

LOCATION: De’an Mine Jiangxi Prov China

This specimen is a cluster of intergrown natural fluorite crystals showing cubic form. The crystals are dark purple and green, mostly translucent. The overall specimen is 65 x 45 x30 cm mm (about 2.75 inches in length) The fluorite crystals measure about 15 mm on a side. Very showy piece with no damage. Displays well.

LOCATION: Nikolaevsky Mine, Primorsky Region, Russia

This rare Arsenopyrite is from the Nikolaevsky Mine in Russia. It is from the Martin Zinn Collection and comes with his label. The specimen is 60 x 60 x 35 mm in size (about 2 inches across) Very bright Arsenopyrite set off by the white and transparent quartz crystals. Beautiful.

MINERAL: Japan Law Twin Quartz

LOCATION: Fengjiashan Mine, Hubei Province China

This small cabinet quartz and pyrite contains a beautiful Japan Law twin. The overall specimen measures 8 x 3.8 cm x 4.5 cm. The twin is 3 cm tall by 5 cm wide (about 1 inch by 2 inches) The pyrite on the reverse is bright and attractive, mostly cubic. Additional photos available.

LOCATION: Yaogangxian, Hunan Prov, China

Stunning display of stacked calcite plates. The specimen is 8 x 3.5 x4 cm (just a bit over 3 inches in length). The largest calcite crystal is 3 x 2 x 2 cm. While calcite is found in a myriad of forms, this one is more aesthetic than most. No damage. Haven’t seen another like it.

MINERAL: Light Apple Green Fluorite

This small cabinet specimen of multiple cubes of translucent apple green fluorite measures 7 x 7 x 3.6 cm, (2.75 x 2.75 x 1.5 inches). The individual crystals are about 3 cm on a side. No damage on this bright, attractive Chinese Fluorite. Great color!

This barite rose is from the Martin Zinn collection and comes with his original label. The rose is 7 x 4 x 4 cm in size (about 2.5 inches in length) Perfect and undamaged. Nice light brown coloring.

MINERAL: Wulfenite

LOCATION: Red Cloud Mine, La Paz County, Arizona

Very nice small cabinet specimen of numerous tabular orange brown translucent wulfenite crystals on darker matrix. The specimen is 8 cm x 3 cm x 3 cm ( about 3 inches long). The large crystal is 7 mm on a side. Bright and attractive piece. The dark parts of the large crystal are areas of increased transparency where the background shows thru a bit. No damage or inclusions in the crystals.

LOCATION: Liu Feng Shan Mine, Sichuan Province, China

Very attractive vug of dark blue azurite and some malachite The specimen measures 8.4 cm x 6.2 cm x 3.8 mm (3.3 inches by 2.6 inches). Difficult to photograph, but the azurite crystals are bright, sparkling blue. Much nicer in person. You will be pleased with this one.

MINERAL: Wulfenite

LOCATION:Red Cloud Mine, Trigo Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona

Small cabinet of azurite with some light green malachite. It measures 8.5 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm (about 3.2 inches long). Difficult to photograph, but the azurite crystals are bright, sparkling blue. This almost appears as a geode. Much nicer in person.
