Thumbnail of translucent to opaque Azurite from the Toussit Mine in Moracco. This specimen is quite refractive and well formed. It is translucent in its thinner areas albeit with bright backlight. Color is very dark blue. Appears black in normal lighting. This is good size thumbnail measuring 27 x 16 x 7 mm. That is just at one inch long.
