This small cabinet size Almandine specimen is bright dark red with multiple crystals in matrix. The specimen is 38 x 20 x 15 mm. The garnets themselves are just the top5 mm of coating on the base matrix. The specimen is mounted on a clear plexiglass plate ready for display. Excellent addition to a collection showing off the spectacular color and luster of these highly prized gemstones.
