Description
Stibnite is the primary ore of antimony and therefore is sometimes called antimonite. It is used in batteries and in fireworks. This specimen is in excellent condition. Very attractive and very affordable thumbnail of this somewhat rare, but popular mineral. These specimens from Romania are excellent.
This specimen contains two acticular, radiating, intersecting stibnite crystal clusters. The individual needles are sharp and well formed. There is no damage on this rather stunning specimen. It measures 15mm x 22m x 21 mm and is mounted in a Perky box.
