Description

Specularite variety of Hematite from the Drum Mountain in Utah. This piece just dazzles as it catches the light due to the tiny ingrown chalcopyrite crystals. It shines like a Christmas tree filled with miniature lights. The dark steel grey Specularite forms a botryoidal mass. The specimen is 30 x 16 x 20 mm in size. It is mounted on a clear plexiglas plate but easily removed.
