Item 070094 Inesite
Location
Wessels Mine, Kurruman, South Africa
Description
Inesite is not a common mineral, but here is a good chance to get a nice one at a very low price. The specimen is a bright rose pink. It is 30 x 13 mm in size. The intersection crystals make a bright interesting display piece. Inesite is a Hydros Calcium Mangenese Silicate. It grows in hydrothermal metamorphic rock fissures. It is prismatic, fibrous, and as in this specimen it is spherulitic with radiating crystals. Very Attractive
